The state of Illinois has become the 11th state to legalize marijuana. The murder rate in East St. Louis, Illinois is the city with the highest murder rate. Now the criminals are doing to be the “highest” in other areas; pun intended.
The law Gov. J.B. Pritzker signed Tuesday may have an impact on the War on Drugs, so they hope. Or perhaps the law makers think, if people get hostile and want to kill each other, maybe they will simply light up a joint or smoke a blunt of that sticky green cannabis, the anger will subside. Then the only thing they want to attack is a bag of potato chips.
I hope the potato chip, and Little Debbie distributors are safe. Smoking marijuana increases the hunger for munchies; so I’m told.
